Unit delivery

Your pallet(s) must match the international shipping standards of all the others in the container and the ship in total. That means secure wrapping and clear labelling to the standards of the receiving country: some need dedicated ‘export wrapping’ services. Be aware that some countries require fumigated, heat treated or plastic pallets. Your LCL shipping forwarder may be able to supply and pallets using these as an extra service.

Cargo transport

Sama transporters provides exceptional trucking services to its customers, partners and brokers across the whole country and the entire EastAfrican Region. We operate with dry, loose cargo container, refrigerated, flat bed and power only trucking.

Groupage and LCL

With the many young entrepreneurs starting up businesses in every corner of this country, groupage is the best and cheapest for entering international markets. Groupage is the same as LCL (Less than Container Load). Transporting a shipment with other goods in the container is referred to as LCL. That means that multiple LCL shipments with different Bills of Lading and different owners can be loaded in a single container. Any space used in the container is subject to a charge.

Warehousing

We offer unmatched expert guidance on finding / arranging cargo storage solutions through our reliable partners like Greenroad International logistics in Yiwu China and also have the capacity to outsource local warehouses upon request.

Customs management procedure

At Sama transporters we have experts and advisors on international tax laws and customs management, who will provide you with assistance throughout the process of transporting goods from one country to another. We complete the appropriate preliminary formalities and controls to ensure that your freight arrives in the country of destination in time, with neither penalizations nor stoppages. Reducing the complexity of customs formalities is one of the best weapons for streamlining a shipment and gaining advantage over your competitors.

Insurance

It’s best to be insured. We strongly recommend that you insure your vehicle. This isn’t because we’re accident prone. We’re not! We’ll work hard to get your vehicle from A to B as quickly and safely as possible, but shipping is just like every other business. No matter how hard you try to make sure everything goes right, something will occasionally go wrong.

We offer personalized collections and deliveries. Our drivers are carefully selected for their reliability and professional attention of customers’ requirements. We move SUVs, Dumper trucks, Tractor heads, vintage and classic cars. For private individuals we move their cars to their holiday resort for a couple of weeks and for their arrival at a requested airport.
